Pressure Filtration, Explained Clearly

The plate pack creates sealed chambers for the repeated feed, filtration and cake-discharge cycle.

Close & Seal
The hydraulic system compresses the plate pack and holds the selected closing pressure.
02
Pump Slurry
The feed pump fills the chambers between the plates with conditioned slurry.
03
Build Cake
Solids collect on the filter cloth while pressure continues the separation cycle.
04
Return Filtrate
Liquid passes through the cloth and leaves through open-flow or closed-flow channels.
05
Open & Discharge
The plate pack opens so the cake can drop for collection or downstream handling.

The hydraulic system closes the plate pack. The feed pump fills the chambers, solids form a cake on the filter cloth, and filtrate exits through the plate channels.

Built Around the Process, Not a Stock Machine.

Frame construction, contact materials, plates, cloth, controls and safety devices are selected around the required duty. Options shown are not all standard.

Hydraulic closure, automatic pressure holding, PLC cycle control and remote I/O when specified.

Plate & Cloth
